About Verna van Schaik
In 2001, Verna vann Schaike became the world's deepest woman on scuba. Her world record to 221 meters stands today. The dive took over 5 and a haaf hours, but the jounrey, all of her adult life. To her suprise it was not the ending she was looking for, but a new beginning.
Verna is married (to a fellow diver) with two Beagles who keep her sane. She is an avid reader (especially anything esoteric and spiritual) and when not reading, writing (she has two books published and a third on the way), she can be found camping in Northern Botswana.
Qualifications wise, Verna is a certified Consciousness Coach, Reiki Master (Usui, Tibetan and Lightarian).
